Our Story
Founder Bria Larine
Natural by Bria began long before I ever stepped behind the chair. My love for natural hair started in 2011, when I launched a YouTube channel sharing my natural hair journey as I figured out my natural curls for the first time. That passion opened doors to partnerships with leading brands including Pattern Beauty, Camille Rose, Amika, Sally Beauty, SalonCentric, and more.
Wanting to serve people more intentionally, I transitioned from content creator to licensed cosmetologist through a hands-on apprenticeship program, where I gained real experience with clients from day one. Over the years, I’ve continued to refine my expertise through advanced education, including precision-cutting, and as well as becoming a certified Trichologist.
Today, Bria is based in Royal Oak, MI where I blend my roles as a stylist, educator, and brand partner to elevate natural hair with a focus on healthy hair, scalp wellness, and customized precision cuts. My mission is to help every woman feel confident, beautiful, and empowered in their natural texture.
